At Marin Bath Studio, every project is approached with intention, clarity, and care. The following terms are designed to ensure a smooth, transparent experience for all clients.

By scheduling a consultation or engaging services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Consultation Services

Consultations are a focused, in-person design session intended to evaluate your space and provide professional guidance.

  • Consultation fees are due at the time of booking

  • Consultations are non-refundable, but may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice

  • The consultation fee will be credited toward a full design package if you choose to move forward

Payment Terms

  • All design services are billed according to the agreed proposal or contract

  • Payments are due as outlined and must be made on time to avoid delays

  • Marin Bath Studio does not provide itemized pricing; projects are presented as a cohesive, design-driven investment

Scope of Services

Marin Bath Studio provides design services and may assist in coordinating with contractors and vendors.

However:

  • We are not acting as the general contractor

  • We do not perform construction work

  • We do not control construction means, methods, or execution

Our role is to guide, design, and support—not to manage or guarantee construction outcomes.

Contractor Collaboration

We may act as a liaison between you and your contractor to support communication, scheduling, execution and help ensure design intent is carried through.

That said:

  • Final responsibility for construction lies with the contractor

  • Marin Bath Studio is not liable for workmanship, scheduling, or execution issues

Limitations of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a smooth and successful project:

Marin Bath Studio is not responsible for:

  • Contractor errors or performance

  • Material delays or backorders

  • Unforeseen site conditions or structural issues

Design Ownership

All design concepts, drawings, and materials provided by Marin Bath Studio remain the intellectual property of the studio.

They are intended for use on your specific project and may not be reproduced, shared, or reused without permission.

Cancellations & Termination

Either party may choose to discontinue services at any time.

  • Work completed up to that point will be billed accordingly

  • Any deposits or payments made are non-refundable
